Trisha
The markings in Ancaster Limestone are only really visible once the stone is polished, so when one gets to that point and finds markings as beautiful as they are on Trisha, it is sheer joy. I loved working on Trisha and the contrast between the hardness of the stone and portraying the softness of the pillow.
A clay Maquette was made before this piece was started to guide the carving.
